Minimum Length for Pubic Hair to be Considered “Removed”

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Is it permissible to merely “trim” the pubic hair short, and not completely shave it off? What is the longest length for it to be considered ”removed” according to shariah.

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Wa Alaykum Assalam wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuhu,

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful & Compassionate

One should remove pubic hair to the best of their ability (whether by shaving, trimming or plucking), without risking harming one’s private parts or bearing undue pain. Pubic hair should be removed to an extent that is not considered ‘long’ for that part of the body.
