Is a woman allowed to pray outdoors (in public) if there is nowhere else for her to pray without the salah being missed?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

In such a situation, it would be obligatory for her to pray in public: as the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “Allah is more deserving of one’s shame than people.”

Delaying prayer beyond its time because one doesn’t want to pray in front of people would be a major sin, from which sincere repentance would be obligatory.

And Allah alone gives success.

Wassalam,

Faraz Rabbani
