Fabric art and Arabic

I would like to make gift cards and wall hangings out of fabric, (like patchwork with details). If it isn’t generally permissible, would it become so if there is arabic detail as a reminder, for instance ‘Allah’, as opposed to just making a hanging for a child’s room to brighten it up with boats and so on?
