Assalamualikum, Me and my wife is staying in USA, my wife is in H4 Visa(dependent Visa), in which she is not allowed to work in USA. One sister came to my wife for applying mehendi and she gave some dollars, she did not accept, but if she accept, is it halal for us. Jazakallah

You should have accepted the dollars if she was not giving them as bribe and neither there was any reason to believe that they were earned out of haram income. Accepting hadya is sunnah and it is pure and halal. Yes, if it is known with surety that it is not halal for you, then there is no harm in rejecting it.
