If a person farted after the first salam of the salah, is his salah valid or he has to repeat the salah after doing wudhu? Please give explanation.

Salah is complete on the first mim (ميم) of Assalamu Alaikum. Hence salah was complete on passing wind after first salam. There is no need to re-offer that salah.
