Assalamualikum.my father dad 12th October and that time my mother was live a rented house with him. but now i want to take care her in my house.my house distances near about 1.5 kl m. my another brother still live with her but he is like abnormal,he can not take care her.one of moulana said she have to stay minimum 4 months 10 days in that house.please tel me what can i do in the situation .

Maulana is alright. After the death of husband, wife has to observe the iddah of four months and ten days and it is necessary to complete it in the same house where she lived with her husband. Hence, you should take care of her by going there and if you get time, you should stay with your mother. After completion of the iddah, you can take her to your house.
