We are civil, interior and painting contractors. my question is can we take the renovation contract of dargah & its mazhaar?
Answer:

It is not right to take renovation contract of dargah or mazar. The Messenger of Allah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) prohibited erecting building on graves:
واما البناء علیہ فلم ار من اختار جوازہ و فی شرح المنیۃ عن منیۃ المفتی: و عن ابی حنیفۃ یکرہ ان یبنی علیہ بناء من بیت او قبۃ او نحو ذلک لما روی جابر: نھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عن تجصیص القبور وان یکتب علیھا و ان یبنی علیھا۔ (شامی: 3/144)
