Question:

Does a mentally ill daughter inherit from her deceased mother.?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

The right to inherit is established from The Quran.1 Being mentally ill will not prevent her from inheriting the money. In this case, she will inherit the money, and her caretaker may look after it for her.
