Question:

If a Musafir misses two rakaats behind a Muqeem Imaam, he completes as four rakaats as a Masbooq, correct?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

If a Musaafir prays behind a Muqeem Imaam, he should pray 4 Rak’aats, as mentioned below:

إن اقتدى مسافر بمقيم اتم أربعا

“And if a Musaafir follows a Muqeem, he should complete 4.” (Fataawa Hindiyya, Vol 1, Pg 156)

So, yes, if he (Musafir) is a Masbooq behind a Muqeem Imaam, he should finish off the 4 Rak’aats.

Only Allah knows best.
