What should be done if the first rakaat is missed with Jamaat?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org

Can you please let us know what should be done if you miss the first rakat for Isha and joined the jamaat in the second rakat and by mistake you did One Salaam with the Imam, and then suddenly you realize that you have to complete the first missed rakat? Is there a need to do Sajda Sahu in this case after completing the first missed rakat? What happens if one joins the jamaat in a Ruku position when the Imam is coming back from the Ruku position into Qiyam position and is half way between the Ruku position and the qiyam position but has not said SamiAllahu liman Hamida yet? Will this be counted as a rakat or is this rakat missed? (U.S.A)

There is no need to perform’ sajda sahw’ because as long as you are praying with neither whatever mistake teammate’s you are not responsible for it. If the leader who is leading the prayer gets up from his ruku and you join him in his standing position even though he may not have said the tasbeeh like lease sense from your question then in this case your entire rakat will not be counted.
