Salaam alaikkum , consider when i am entering in to the masjid for fajar prayer and the Eqamah is going on for the fajar prayer , i should join the jamaath or else i should complete the 2 rakath sunnath namaz before joining the jamaath,what should i do? in this situation can we pray the 2 rakaath sunnath namaz after the faraz namaz of fajar?

One should perform first the sunnah if he expects to join the imam in last rak?ah or, according to the other opinion, in the last sitting (qa?dah), then he should join the fardh salah, but this sunnah should be offered outside the mosque at door or behind pillars away from the queues of salah. It is makrooh to perform sunnah adjacent to the queues of salah.
