Assalamu alaikum. We have 2 children. Our younger child is about 11 months old. Now, my wife became pregnant. Now she wants abortion as the Doctor suggested her to wait for another baby for 30 months due to physical matter. Is the abortion permitted?

If any pious Muslim doctor suggests and prescribes that the pain of pregnancy and birth would be unbearable, so it is allowable to abort the pregnancy of less than three months. But, if the foetus is more than three months old, then abortion is not lawful rather it is haram.
