Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Can wealthy children pay Fidya for Salat of a dead father who missed some Salat in his life? Is it obligatory or not?

Answer

(Fatwa: 642/456=L/1430)

Yes, they can give the fidyah (expiation). The amount of fidyah of one salah is 1.633 kg wheat or its price. While giving fidyah, witr also should be counted with the five salah.
