What is the ruling of Sharia on designing programs often used in margin trading?

Praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds. May His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Mohammad and upon all his family and companions.
The Islamic Fiqh Academy has issued a resolution prohibiting this type of trading. Accordingly, whatever helps in such trading is forbidden because it is helping in sin.
In addition, it is true that designing programs could be used in lawful matters, but jurists have decided that selling arms during times of sedition-internal war-is prohibited because they are often used in sin (Kindly check Nehayat Al-Mohtaaj, V.3:P.455 and Al-Moghni, V.4:P.246 by Ibn Qhoddamah).
Therefore, you (Asker) have to evaluate things yourself and never help in sin because Allah the Almighty says: "Nay, man will be evidence against himself. Even though he were to put up his excuses." {Al-Qiyaama, 14-15}. And Allah the Almighty knows best.
