With which parent would adult children live with if there has been a divorce between the parents

Assalamwalikum,
If parents get a divorce and they have a adult child/children who are more than 20 years of age, which parent would they have to live with? Can the adult children choose whom he/she wants to live with?

Adult children can choose which parent they want to live with if the parents are divorced. (Raddul Muhtar p.270 v.5)
