Did the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam see angels in their Angelic form?
In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.
Sometimes Saaiduna Jibraail Alayhi Salam would appear as he was without having taken a shape of a human. However, this only happened thrice in his entire lifetime. First of all, it was when the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam had himself wished to see him in his real form and shape. The second time, was in the Miraj and the third time was at Ajyad in Makkah al Mukarramah during the very early days of Prophethood. The first two happenings are proved authentically, however, the last one is weak and is therefore doubtful. (Maariful Quran p.5 v.1)
