Question:
If a person is flying from Durban to Lanseria which is Masafat-e-Qasr but during his flight he passes over Azaadville (his hometown) will he still have to make Qasr in Lanseria since the distance from Azaadville to Lanseria is not Masafat-e-Qasr?
Answer:
Such a person will not make Qasr in Lanseria as flying over Azaadville will be akin to entering the boundaries of Azaadville by air and as a result, his Safar-e-Shar’ee will be terminated.
