We have a flat in an apartment that we give on rent and use that money for our expenses. This month that flat was vacated and daughter of our friend want to take this flat on rent. Her father and mother live on the above floor of that flat and she want to live near his mother. Her husband is working in bank and he will give amount of rent from his bank salary. According to our knowledge amount of rent from bank salary is not halal. That family forces us for giving them that flat on rent and giving us option that if that person give money to his father-in-law or any other person and then he will give that money to us. Is by this method that amount will halal for us? That family wants that flat on rent and asks us any way through which we will give our flat to them on rent
It is permissible to hire the flat to the person working in the bank. The rental amount accrued from the flat will be Halaal.
