Question
Can the following narration be quoted:
وَمَنْ أَصَابَ مِنَ امْرَأَةٍ نَظْرَةً حَرَامًا مَلَأَ اللَّهُ عَيْنَيْهِ نَارًا ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِهِ إِلَى النَّارِ
Answer
This is part of a very lengthy narration recorded in Musnadul Harith.
(Musnadul Harith; Bughyatul Bahith, Hadith: 205)
Overall, this narration has been declared/acknowledged as a fabrication by many Aimmah. Amongst them were the likes of ‘Allamahs: Ibnul Jawzi, Haythami, Ibn Hajar, Busiri, Suyuti, and Ibn ‘Arraq (rahimahumullah). Therefore, it should not be quoted.

There are many other narrations regarding the importance of protecting one’s gaze that can be quoted instead.
