The reward for suffering a headache in the path of Allah

Question

What is the authenticity of this Hadith?

“Whoever suffered from headache in the path of Allah and believes in reward for it, then, his all previous sins will be forgiven.”

Answer

Imams Bazzar and Tabarani (rahimahumallah) have recorded this Hadith.

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whomsoever suffers a headache in the path of Allah and anticipates reward for it, Allah will forgive all his previous [minor] sins.”

(Musnad Bazzar; Al Bahruz Zakkhar, Hadith: 2437, Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: 14639)

‘Allamah Mundhiri and ‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahumallah) have declared the chain sound (hasan).
