Query regarding the authenticity of Hadiths in Faydul Qadir

I have seen a Hadith in Faydul Qadir. Does this mean the Hadith is authentic due to its inclusion in this book?

Answer

Faydul Qadir authored by ‘Allamah Munawi (rahimahullah) is not a Hadith source. It is a commentary of ‘Allamah Suyuti’s Al Jami’us Saghir which also is not a Primary Hadith source.

A Hadith merely appearing in a book does not necessitate its authenticity unless the author specifically mentions so.

The narrations found in Al Jami’us Saghir or Faydul Qadir for that matter, will have to be located in its primary source and inspected individually.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
