Translation

Sayyiduna Mu’adh ibn Jabal (radiyallahu ‘anhu) says, “Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) sent me to Yemen. When I left, he sent [someone] to call me back. He then said, ‘Do you know why I called you back? [I called for you, to inform you] Do not take anything [from the booty] without my permission, for that will be [regarded to be stealing] and [Allah Ta’ala says] ‘Whoever steals, will come on the Day of Qiyamah with what he stole.’ This is why I called you, you may now proceed.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
