An unauthentic virtue of saying a certain hamd [praise of Allah Ta’ala]

If a person says ‘Alhamdulillahil ladhi ta’azzaza bil qudrati‘ [الحمد لله الذي تعزّز بالقدرة], Allah Ta’ala will look at him [with mercy]. And if Allah looks at a person [mercifully] then he will not punish him and the all the Angels seek forgiveness on his behalf.

Is this authentic?

Answer

The Muhaddithun have declared this narration a fabrication. The Hadith is not suitable to quote.

(Dhaylul La-Alil Masnu’ah, vol. 2 pg. 599, Hadith: 733, Tanzihush Shari’ah, vol. 2 pg. 328)

And Allah Ta’ala knows best.
