Is the following Hadith authentic?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “There is no reward except Jannah for an accepted Hajj”
Answer:
Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (rahimahumallah) have recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu). The narration is therefore authentic.
The full narration is as follows:
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“One ‘Umrah to the next is a means of expiation of all [minor] sins perpetrated between the two ‘Umrahs and there is no reward for an accepted Hajj except Jannah”
(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 1773 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1349)
