Q: I believe my question has it’s answer and it’s a clear one, but I can’t bring myself to fight. I am a 20 year old girl who was in a haram relationship one year ago. I have regretted it a lot and stopped everything and repented to Allah, but the guy (who is 6 years older then me) always tried to contact me ever since and I tried really hard to push him back every time until 3 months ago, I don’t know why but I started talking to him again and we met once, ever since, I feel lost and ashamed. Now he is asking me to meet him somewhere private, and I believe if I do that it will be the biggest mistake of my life. I try to talk to him but he doesn’t listen, I wonder if he has any fear of Allah but that is between him and Allah, I can’t bring myself to leave him again even if I have every reason to, I feel like my heart isn’t strong as before and that Allah won’t accept my tawbah. What can I do to have strength to get back to Allah’s path and to be able to leave haram relationships and everything with it?
A: Cut off all relationships with this person and sincerely repent to Allah Ta’ala for your sin.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
