Should my brother-in-law continue with my sister who committed zina?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
My sister is married for 12 years and has a kid. She was caught having illegal relationship and had performed unlawful sexual relationship (zina) with one of her relative who is also married. Though, my brother-in-law went ahead and forgave his wife for the illegal act performed by my sister with the hope that Allah will forgive her and wants to lead a normal life with my sister again. Is it okay as per Islam for my brother-in-law to continue relationship? Please guide us per the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and Quran, Hadith.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 130/114/N=02/1437)

The relatives with whom your sister established illegal relationship if he is not among your sister’s father-in-law, father-in-law’s father, her husband’s grandfather, son of the husband etc as it is also obvious from the question then she did not become haram on her husband (your bahnoi). Hence it is lawful for your bahnoi to keep her as his wife and continue marital life with her as before.
