Can One Pray at Anytime?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Seekersguidance.org

Answered by Ustadh Tabraze Azam

Question: Can one pray at any time?
For what reasons can I pray?

Answer: Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

I pray that you are in the best of health and faith, insha’Allah.

There are two things:

(1) You can pray voluntary prayers whenever you wish, except during the disliked times. [see: Prohibited times for Prayers and Makeup Prayers]

(2) You can supplicate at any time, day or night.

And Allah alone gives success.
