Scalp micro-pigmentation

Answered as per Shafi'i Fiqh by Seekersguidance.org

Question: Is scalp micro-pigmentation (SMP) permissible?

Answer:

Wa alaykum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Dear questioner,

Thank you for your important question.

Scalp micro-pigmentation (SMP)  is essentially tattooing. As such, it would only be permissible if it is for purely corrective reasons, such as when some abnormal hair loss clearly disfigures the head.

I pray this helps.
