In the Shafi’i madhhab, where must one look during ruku’ and sajda?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

In the name of Allah Most Merciful Most Compassionate

It is recommended throughout the prayer one to maintain one’s eyesight on the place of one’s sujood, except during tashahhud, when it is recommended to looks at one’s index finger. If one looks elsewhere, however, the prayer remains valid.

And Allah Most High knows best.
