You mention that it is permissible to pray eight rak’ahs after dhuhr, thereby intending the sunnahs before and after it. If one does this, when should one recite the tashahhud and when should one not recite it?
Answer:
It is permissible to recite the tashahhud after every two rakahs. It is also permissible to recite one tashahhud during the last rakah. It is not permissible to recite the tashahhud after every rakah or during the [m: first, ] third, fifth, or seventh rakah.
