Moulana-saab, I am considering getting rid of my computer because it can often times serve as a source of fitna; but at the same time, I use the computer to do many good things like listen to Islamic lectures. Given my situation, would it be better to get rid of my computer or keep it?

keep it and control yourself. Use it for good reasons. If you happen to slip, make tawba and istighfar immediately.
