Question: I don’t understand how to perform the dua of Hifzul Quran? What is the night proceeding? Do you pray all four Rakaats together? Is the Duaa made before or after Salam?

Answer: The method is written in the back of the 13 line Quraans. This Salah should be performed on Thursday night. It should be performed in the last portion of the night if possible. If not, then in the middle of the night. If not, then in the early portion of the night.
The four rakaats should be performed together. This means that you will not do Salaam after the second Rakat. In the first Rakaat, you should recite Yasin. In the second rakat, Surah Dukhan. In the third Rakat, Surah Aleef Laam Meem Sajdah, and in the fourth Rakat, Surah Mulk.
After Salam, you should praise almighty Allah Ta’ala, and send Salutation upon the Prophet of Allah Salla Allahu Alayhi Wa Sallam, and the other prophets. Then you should make Dua for all the believers and those who have passed away. Theres is no specific Dua for this. For those who do not know Arabic and do not know any other Duaas, they may recite.
الْحَمْدُ اللَّهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ عَدَدَ خَلْقِه، وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ، وَزِنَةِ عَرْشِهِ، وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ. رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِلَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ.اللهم اِغْفِرْ لِيْ وَ لِوَالِدَيَّ وَ لِجَمِيْعِ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ يَا رَبَّ اْلعَالَمِيْنَ.
Thereafter you should recite:
اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي بِتَرْكِ الْمَعَاصِي أَبَدًا مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي، وَارْحَمْنِي أَنْ أَتَكَلَّفَ مَا لَا يَعْنِينِي، وَارْزُقْنِي حُسْنَ النَّظَرِ فِيمَا يُرْضِيكَ عَنِّي، اللَّهُمَّ بَدِيعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ، وَالْعِزَّةِ الَّتِي لَا تُرَامُ أَسْأَلُكَ يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَحْمَانُ بِجَلَالِكَ وَنُورِ وَجْهِكَ أَنْ تُلْزِمَ قَلْبِي حِفْظَ كِتَابِكَ، كَمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي أَنْ أَتْلُوَهُ عَلَى النَّحْوِ الَّذِي يُرْضِيكَ عَنِّي، اللَّهُمَّ بَدِيعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ، وَالْعِزَّةِ الَّتِي لَا تُرَامُ، أَسْأَلُكَ يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَحْمَانُ بِجَلَالِكَ وَنُورِ وَجْهِكِ أَنْ تُنَوِّرَ بِكِتَابِكَ بَصَرِي، وَأَنْ تُطْلِقَ بِهِ لِسَانِي، وَأَنْ تُفَرِّجَ بِهِ عَنْ قَلْبِي، وَأَنْ تَشْرَحَ بِهِ قلبي وان تستعمل بِهِ بَدَنِي، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يُعِينُنِي عَلَى الْحَقِّ غَيْرُكَ، وَلَا يُؤْتِيهِ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ
