Should we refrain from voting because all parties this way or the other have un-Islamic agendas and many Muslims think that they’ll possibly be supporting haram activities from the parties therefore its best not to vote. Secondly is there any guideline from the elders in Tabligh about this issue?

Scholars have stated that voting is a way of witnessing for someone. It is a way of saying that I trust or rely upon so and so. Whether or not a person is capable of being a witness is something that even you should know. The elders of ‘tabligh’ don’t say anything on this topic because it is against the policy of the movement to intervene or participate in political affairs. Because it is best, based on the current conditions of Muslims, that one should be quiet both in action and statements.
