Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah
This is correct that the best Durood is Durood-e-Ibrahimi which is read during salah. When Ka‘ab Ibn-Ujrah RaziAllah Ta‘ala Anhu asked Rasulullah Sallallaho Alyhi Wasallam regarding the same, Rasulullah Sallallaho Alyhi Wasallam responded with the following Durood (as mentioned in Saheeh al-Bukhari in the narration by Hazrat Ka‘ab Ibn-Ujrah RaziAllah Ta‘ala Anhu):
اللهم صل على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما صليت على آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد . اللهم بارك على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما باركت على آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد

وَأَفْضَلُ الْعِبَارَاتِ عَلَى مَا قَالَ السُّيُوطِيّ:اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
