Is It Permissible to Work for a Bank in the IT Support Area?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Seekersguidance.org

Answered by Shaykh Salman Younas

Question

My question today is whether it is permissible to work for a Bank in the IT Support area.

Answer

This would be permitted as IT support is not directly related to the impermissible activities of a bank, namely interest-based dealings.
