Is There A Dhikr That Will Remove My Schizophrenia?

Question

Someone has been taking drugs since he was young. Stopping leads to schizophrenia. Also because of the schizophrenia, the doctors diagnosed him with depression. Is there any practice or wazifa to get rid of the schizophrenia and what can be done if he doesn’t leave the drugs because of addiction?

Answer

I pray you are well and that Allah heals the person you refer to.

In this situation, the best thing to do is to speak to the doctors and explain all the issues. You may want to speak to some mental health professionals as well. Addiction and Schizophrenia are issues that require the help of trained professionals, especially if there is a drug addiction present.

As for forms of dhikr and wazifas I don’t know of any that can treat the issue. In fact, it is Allah who cures us, and He usually does so through means. The means here are what I mentioned above.

Supplication (dua) is also very powerful. Tell him to turn to Allah and ask Him for a way out. That is what the wazifas are useful for – turning to Allah. They are a means to asking for your problem to be fixed, but they don’t guarantee a fix. That is in Allah’s hands.

Be sure that Allah will bring the best about for him.

May Allah grant every ease and facilitation in the matter.
