Does Scratching My Feet While Wearing Thick Socks Nullify Ablution?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Seekersguidance.org
Question:
Does scratching my feet while wearing thick socks nullify ablution?
Answer:
Dear questioner,
Thank you for your important question.
May Allah, Most High reward you for your desire to increase in knowledge.
Using your finger to scratch the inside of your foot while wearing thick socks does not nullify your ablution nor the ruling of wiping.
The removal of the sock or majority of the sock (i.e. the entire heel of the foot being exposed) invalidates one’s ablution, and the foot must be washed.
