How Do I Clean Pre-Seminal Fluid (Madhi)?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Seekersguidance.org
Question: How do I clean pre-seminal fluid (madhi)? Do impurities spread?
Answer:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate,

By wearing clothing, pre-seminal fluid (madhi) cannot transfer to any other surface. Even if the exterior of your clothing is dampened by the madhi, the impurity does not transfer. [Tahtawi/Shurunbulali, Hashiyat Maraqi al-Falah]

Filth only transfers when its traces are clearly manifest on the object of contact. However, due to the clothing, this is highly unlikely. [Ibid.]

There is no reason for you to fear impurities spreading “through your entire house.” Given that the criteria for spreading is the clear manifestation of the filth’s traces – it is farfetched – rather impossible – for your entire house to be affected.
How to Remove Madhi
Madhi is heavy filth (najasa ghaliza). One must remove it by washing it. [Tahtawi/Shurunbulali, Hashiyat Maraqi al-Falah]
Sprinkling water does not remove the impurities.
‘Ali bin Abi Talib (Allah be pleased with him) said, “I was a person who often had pre-seminal fluid. So I commanded someone to ask the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) because His daughter is my wife, so he asked Him, and the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “Perform wudu and wash your private part.” [Bukhari]

In another narration, He (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “Perform wudu and wash it.” [Ahmad]

It is sufficient to wash the area three times, wringing the water out each time. Thereafter, the clothing is pure. [Tahtawi/Shurunbulali, Hashiyat Maraqi al-Falah]

I hope this helps,
Allah knows best.
