How does one go about doing qasr prayers during the month of ramadan, if one has already decided to fast while travelling? Is there anything different for a musafir to do since it is the month of ramadan?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah
There is no relation between the prayer and Ramadhan. One would shorten prayers as one normally would as a traveller. It remains praiseworthy to engage in as much supererogatory worship as one can, given one’s circumstances
