Isha times in the summer months in England

Is it permissible to pray Maghrib and then pray pray Isha straight afterwards in the summer in England (when Maghrib time goes straight into Fajr, and even the redness of the sky fails to disappear)? Or should there be a gap between the 2 salahs? E.g., could we read Maghrib & Isha 15 mins before Fajr starts?
