Wudu & its validity

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Sohail Hanif, SunniPath Academy Teacher

Is the following wudu (hence salah prayed with the wudu in question) valid?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu alaykum

The above described wudu is legally valid and therefore so are the prayers offered with it. The only obligatory elements of the ablution according to the Hanafi fuqaha is that the face, forearms, and two feet be washed and a quarter of the head be wiped. As long as this has been done the ablution is valid. Every else from rinsing one’s mouth and nose, to observing the proper order and washing all of the limbs in one go is sunna and one should observe it but it does not affect the validity of the ablution.
