Is it true that if someone dies during Ramadan they go straight to heaven? What about non-Muslims?

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

Ramadan is a blessed month, and closer to Divine Mercy. However, it is not a given that death in this month is a means to Heaven.
