If you break wind during prayer in a long congregation and would not be able to leave without crossing others’ prayer, what do you do?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam,

In such situations, it is permitted to cut through the lines with tact. The ulema mention that one way to avoid embarrassment is to pinch one’s nose (as if bleeding).
