Can you make up prayers during non-menstrual bleeding (istihada)

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

Can I make up prayers even when I am spotting, after 10 days of menstruation are over?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

I pray that this finds you well, and in the best of health and spirits. May Allah grant you all good and success in this life and the next.

Yes, istihada is a state of effective tahara, and it would be valid to perform make up prayers at this time. [ Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah ]

And Allah alone gives success. Faraz Rabbani
