Do we say anything during Zuhr, and Asr congregational prayer?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Ilyas Patel

When I go to the Masjid for zuhr and asr prayer, the Imam does not recite aloud. So do I need to recite myself during the first 2 rakats? What about the last two?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

In the name of Allah Most Compassionate Merciful

I hope you are fine and in the best of health and iman.

One does not need to recite fatiha and surah in all the four rakats of Dhur and Asr when praying behind someone in the silent prayers, except the dhikr and supplications.
