Are men allowed to wear watches that have diamonds inside them?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

It is my understanding that Muslim Men are not allowed to wear diamonds but what about watches that have diamonds in them?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah

I pray this finds you in the best of health and spirits. While men cannot wear gold or silver watches–because of the Prophetic prohibition against them wearing gold or silver–other precious metals and jewels aren’t prohibited in items that are otherwise permitted for them.
