My name is Mohammad Rafiq. I am an engineer by profession. I was born in Peshawar (Pakistan). I studied in Peshawar until Engineering. After
Engineering is completed, I got job in Islamabad. Islamabad is 160 Km away from Peshawar. Now I have shifted to Islamabad with my family. I
live in Islamabad for the last 8 years. I usually visit Peshawar after3/3 weeks for 2 or 3 days. Now my question is: Should I pray the
complete Salaat or the Qasr Salaat when I visit Peshawar and stay for less than 15 days?
Answer:
If you have intended that Islamabad is your Watan-e-Asli i.e. you will stay there forever and will not move from there, and you have no intention of moving back to Peshawar. Then Peshawar is not your Watan-e-Asli and if you go there for less then 15 days you must make Qasar in your Salaah.
