Is it halal to rent property to a bank in Islam?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftisays.com
Assalamualaykum,

I would like to know if it is permissible in Islam to rent once property to bank ?

Jazakumullah

Answer
Bismillah

Al-jawab billahi at-taufeeq (the answer with Allah’s guidance)

It will not be permissible to rent out a property to the bank.

Allah Ta’ala says,

“And do not co-operate in sinfulness and transgression. Have fear of Allah, for Allah is Stern in retribution.” (5:2)

The bank will use the place for dealing in Riba (interest), which is Haram. Renting a property to the bank is helping them in something Haram and sinful.

And Only Allah Ta’ala Knows Best.
