Concerned about being on the straight path

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I’m facing a hardship but as my namaz/nafawil/ibaadat has increased I can estimate that it is a test/azmaaish on me. How to pass Allah’s test of hardship? Azmaaish? What if I fail to pass the test what will happen?

Bismillaah

A: Hold onto the Sunnah of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) in all facets of your life and refrain from sin. This is a sign that you are on the straight path.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
