Q: I have read a hadith that a sign of an unfortunate person is that they have fancy aspirations (something to the effect). Are there any guidelines to determine if your aspirations are fanciful e.g. not of benefit to Deen, aspiration is motivated by competition?
A: Aspirations which are only to impress people or they are lengthy material aspirations.
